Maintenance

Maintaining your gates is an integral part of keeping your gates in safe, working order. We offer an annual maintenance contract on all of our gates which we will forward onto you after your gate has been installed for a year.

Why do you need a gate maintenance contract?

Your gates will normally open and close several times every day and although they are designed for this use they are a mechanical system and as such they require regular servicing and maintenance to keep them in safe working order.

What does your gate maintenance include?

This is normally dependent upon the size of your gates, the type of motor fitted and whether it is a domestic or commercial installation.

Normally included within our maintenance contracts are:

  • Free call outs, which will normally be attended within a 48 hour period unless an emergency.
  • No labour or material charges for gate installations still within their warranty period.
  • No labour charge and 25% discount on all materials used outside of the warranty period

How to pay for gate maintenance?

When you receive your maintenance contract we ask that you sign and return our copy with a cheque for the full amount or if desired we can offer to spread the cost monthly by direct debit.

Was your gate installed by someone else?

We will need to make an appointment to visit your gates on site and check that they are in good working order and properly installed. If our engineer reports that they are sound then we will send a maintenance contract out to you for signing and return.

My gates broken down and I don't have a maintenance contract with you!

We can still attend site, examine and if requested, repair your gates. You will however be charged a call out fee, all labour and material costs.
